How this list was checked

Versions, tags and notes come from the TeamVanced/VancedManager releases page (opens in a new tab). GitHub shows only day and month, so each year was confirmed from the tagged commits. Notes are short paraphrases. Every release lists only source code archives, so no file sizes, checksums or APK links appear here.

Codenames, tags and the release that never shipped

Codenames. Some releases carried names: “Big Sur” (1.1.0), “Niko” (1.2.0), “Arcturus” (1.3.0) and “Crimson” for the 2.6 series.

Two tags for 2.6.2. The repository has both v2.6.2 and v2.6.2-262. The published release uses v2.6.2-262, whose build config sets version code 262.

No 3.0 release. The main branch holds work on a rewrite labeled 3.0.0, but it was never published before the project ended.

Should you install an older version?

There is little reason to. Every version downloaded Vanced from the same Team Vanced servers, and those are offline. Older builds also lack fixes such as Android 12 support (2.6.1). Repairing an old setup? Start with the troubleshooting guide.
